Father Larkin's first assignment was as associate pastor of St. Mary Church of Ponca City, and in 2007 became pastor of Holy Family Church in Lawton. There he served with the same joy and enthusiasm shown when he first heard God's calling. He is survived by his mother, Rosalie Larkin; 5 siblings, Cheryl Fair, Jim Larkin and wife Verla, Louis Larkin and wife Annemarie, Casimira Rhea and husband Allen, and Lisa Hill and husband Steve; 14 nieces and nephews; three great- nephews and niece; and a large extended family. A vigil will be held Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m., and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m., both services held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. Burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Fr. Larkin's memory to the Archdiocesan Seminary Fund or the Mercy Hospice Team.
